Excellent place to stay close to Pichola Lake; we loved the view of the lake from the window of our room, and the rooftop restaurant offers a full view of the lake. A beautiful property located very strategically around all the important sightseeing places in the old town. The city palace, Bagore ki Haveli, Market, Boat Ride , Jagat Niwas Palace, Jagadish Temple etc all are walking distance from the property.

Rooms are good with the basic amenities. Considering this is an old haveli, therefore elevator is not there. Hence, it will be difficult for senior citizens to access the rooms on upper floors and the rooftop.

The owner of the property Mr. Harsh was very kind enough to accommodate my mother on a 1st floor room as requested along with a room upgrade (a corner lake facing room) which was offered to us. The experience makes it all and you will feel elated while talking to Mr. Harsh. The property has some beautiful instagrammable spots.

Food is also good. Though room service is available, yet we could not order food in rooms as they did not have enough staff during the food hours. Yes, tea was served in the rooms as requested.

All the staffs are very courteous, including Mr. Aslam who took us for a city tour on various days on his auto rickshaw.

I don’t know how this place is getting such good reviews. Please consider Madri Haveli, much better for similar price. While there was nothing too off in Jaiwana but it simply not worth the money. I paid 6.5 for the corner room (which is the room they display on websites). The room was very small, the water flow in shower and flush were terrible, no kettle/toothpaste was provided and the place was understaffed. While the views were undoubtedly great and the haveli was located close to Gangaur, the stay was too basic. Rooms:2 Service:3 Location:4

Jaiwana Haveli, was a very pleasant experience to stay in. Staff was exceptional in hospitality and warmth, assisted w all our needs and requests, very friendly ambience. Rooms were beautiful, provided an authentic Rajasthani experience, and were situated in strategic place for downtown shopping access and temples. the rooftop view was beautiful. Jaiwana Haveli as a property is beautifully placed overlooking Lake Pichola. The rooms that we opted for were Lake facing and offered beautiful view of the lake and the overlooking properties.
It's a Haveli, meaning an old house turned into a hotel. You would not get lifts and the stairs are old style steep ones. Not a property recommended if you have senior citizens or people having leg problems. So clarify with the hotel staff when you book.
One of the rooms allocated to us was on the top floor with three flights of iron spiral stairs. This was not communicated to us at the time of booking and the hotel manager/receptionist Harsh kept insisting they are completely sold out and cant move us even if it's inconvenient. Finally he offered us another room which was small even for two people without a view. The team split up to accommodate and stay on the top floor taking the spiral stairs every time.
The service was okay, at peak breakfast time they are clearly understaffed and wait time was upto 30 mins at a time. With my experience it's a good hotel with great location, if you are super fit and very accomodating if two cups of coffee takes 40+ mins. Rooms:3 Service:3 Location:5

This 5 star review is not about how great the property was but instead how great their customer service is. My parents had booked rooms in this property to ring in their 40th anniversary, but as fate would have it, they had to cancel it at the very last minute due to health concerns that dawned upon my mom. My parents were upset that they had to cancel this long awaited trip for which they had paid a booking fee, and were very sceptical as to whether they would get any refund post cancellation. But the property managers were extremely supportive and refunded the FULL amount that was paid for booking the rooms, which let me tell you is not that common. I hope my parents get to go there again once my mom’s health recovers and enjoy the magnificent property that other reviewers are raving about Rooms:null Service:null Location:null

Okay, so the lake view and sunsets from my room were amazing! And the staff were super friendly. The rooftop restaurant was a nice touch too, with some really tasty home-cooked style food. But here's the thing: the room was tiny! Even the "largest" one they had was only about 10x10 feet. I get that it's an old haveli and all, but the stuff in the room was seriously outdated. The water heater, plugs, heater, and lights were all super old and a pain to use. Honestly, out of all 8 places I stayed during my two weeks in North India, this one was the least bang for my buck. We visited with our parents for a Christmas holiday. We were very impressed with the location and the beauty of the architecture and the use of marble. We thought that the roof top restaurant was excellent and the food was outstanding.

Overall we had a normal experience with the hosts however we felt uncomfortable when interacting with the person who drove us to the horse-riding. The horses were excellent and the grooms were very sweet as was the lady who received us at the stables.
