Great stay in heart of the Udaipur at Jaiwana Haveli. They published a review with my account in booking.com! No idea how they did it, but really, really watch out with this place and with their staff. Most of the reviews here are fake ones did by themselves.
Most of the reviews they have are fake. It is probably the worst hotel in India. It's expensive considering how dirty the rooms are, including cockroaches. The worst thing is the hotel service. My clothes were stolen by the hotel itself. Be very careful with this place. Rooms:1 Service:1 Location:1

Bedding was unwashed and filthy upon arrival. Bathroom sink full of crud. Asked for clean bedding; they told us in one hour it would be completed. Upon returning to the hotel in the evening, nothing had been done. AC also didn’t work. No soap, toilet paper or towels given. Do yourself a favor and don’t book here. I saw 2 mice running out of the room, when I entered. Whole room was stinking and the mattress has to be changed. Since I was tired of the travel, I chose to stay over and rest. Wouldn't recommend this hotel to people who like hygeine. Rooms:1 Service:2 Location:2

I have stayed at Leo Continental multiple times in the past and even recommended it to my friends due to the good service I previously received. However, my recent experience was extremely disappointing.

The reception staff displayed unprofessional behavior, which made my stay unpleasant. The level of service was far below my expectations compared to my previous visits. I felt unwelcome and disrespected, which is not what I expected from a hotel I once trusted.
Consistency in service is crucial for guest satisfaction, and unfortunately, this visit has changed my perception of the hotel. This a great deal at the price. Our room was cozy and the AC worked very well. We had a great view. The folks who work here are very nice and helpful. We only had breakfast in the restaurant but it was great. Do be aware that this is not a fancy place, there are no elevators and the bathrooms are functional but not luxe.
