Some rooms are good some are just shaded you won't like to live in
While the reception has a come-come cat but the girls on the counter was the most rude and unhelpful lady. She had no help attitude unlike what a hotel reception should have, if it wasn't a pre book and paid booking made by me I would not have stayed just seeing the attitude she showed. Though it seems harsh but it reflects the kind of treatment you will get there which was not hopeful.
Not only on arrival but even when we were leaving we asked for some water which instead of helping just showed us the finger to the restaurant where I must go and get it myself, no helping staff was assigned and she didn't even bother that we would be thirsty as it was a sunny day and we had just arrived from outside. During our 3 nights stay only restaurant staff was found good and helpful especially the manager who also was a bar tender. Very helpful and polite guy. It's been an amazing experience at The artist house, udaipur.We had our dinner over there and the food was excellent both in quality and quantity. A stay worth the money and is actually beside the lake, rooms have lake view, both breakfast and dinner(pre booking required for Upre restaurant) was quite good. Definitely the best property to stay on lake pichola…we stayed for three nights in this hotel and it was my one of most comfortable stay…the staff was so welcoming and friendly…rooms are spacious and the view from the room of lake pichola is breathtaking…the in-house restaurant upre is most famous lake view restaurant in Udaipur…the food is outstanding and the service was up to the mark…Thanks a lot to the whole staff of lake pichola hotel for making our stay most comfortable and memorable😊 Rooms:5 Service:5 Location:5

Me and my family had wonderful stay at Lake Pichola hotel. Initially, some issue happened during room allocation, however hotel staff was very generous and kind to accept the mistake and immediately given a complimentary upgrade to higher category room. I really like the approach of hotel to take care of situation during issue. Staff at reception, restaurant and room service are very courteous, humble and they remain up to toe to take care of customer's need. Wow factor is location of hotel, their evening sunset boat ride, view from lake view room, soothing traditional live flute during breakfast, traditional theme of hotel and dinner with live traditional music at lake side Upre restaurant. While I am a fan of Hosteller brand and love their properties and the vibe; the much hyped artist house was a bit of a disappointment.

The staff behaviour was not upto the mark and welcoming attitude was missing. Its actually a shared property and the local owner is running half the rooms as a usual hotel. The 'hostel' vibes were totally missing and the staff had a stern attitude.

After asking multiple times, the basic hygiene factors like soap, tissue rolls, wiper in the bathroom were either missing or delayed provision. The water stopped in the bathroom during peak morning hours.
More than a hostel, its just an overrated hotel managed by local owners who know nothing of standardised hospitality services. Also there is just one washroom in an 8 bed dorm. Usually any dorm more than 6 beds will have 2 washrooms.

Also, if you like peace and want to sleep at night, its not a place for you. They have parties until 3 am and wont let you sleep. Also, they have everything commercialised and will charge you for these parties happening within their property.
I would rather stay in Hosteller property near Pichola lake which has full on hostel vibes and pleasant and friendly staff. Rooms:3 Service:1 Location:3

Stepped out of this place within half an hour of our entry ! Waited for atleast one person to serve us or offer a menu ! But no , not a single person bothered! Lovely property, spent 4 days in the luxury room with balcony. Was worried about the discoutheque noise...but that wasn't a worry at all except on a Sunday when the party went uptill 10.30 pm only. The rooms need some brushing up, but the response of staff is very good. Breakfast needs improvement. The best part for us was the whole swimming pool experience, chimming bells from the clock tower and the location which was away from chandpol but yet just 7 mins away by bike. What a lovely place. It was a pity we were only here just one night as this was the nicest hotel during our Indian adventure. The ONLY hotel directly the water in Udaipur, yet in the middle of town. Everything is reachable within minutes of walking. Hotel staff are super friendly and professional. Miss Priyanka was amazing in arranging every possible need and assisting with anything and everything you wish.

This pub seems solely focused on profits; the quality of their food is disappointing. If you buy a coupon again from inside, they'll not refund the money if anything left. Nowhere it is mentioned that if you buy coupons again it will not be refund if anything left. Denied sauce with dish that is must, waiter said it’s finished at 8:00 pm and he was chewing gutkha. Don't trust their price menu or item numbers, and the staff isn't very good either. And moreover the tall manger standing outside told me that write your negative reviews and go and they are ok with what you write on reviews because they have ego that normal people won’t be able to make any difference. There were no fresh towels,No tissue paper,No toilet rolls.
The service is really pathetic!
I order water and the service was given to me after 2 hours after repeatedly calling!
I called for fresh towels at 3 pm and they were delivered to me at 8pm
After more then 50 calls.

A beautiful property in Jodhpur. The palace gives all the Royal vibes, the rooms are spacious , clean and hygienic. The room even had a personal closet. The staff is sweet and kind and always ready to serve you. The dinning area is huge and you can also dine in at the terrace area. The food is just too good specially the Rajastjani dishes like gatta curry and bhindi, surely visiting back here for the best food they serve. They also have a pool in resort along with a beautiful private lake where you can spend hours admiring the beauty of nature, the resort also has culture nights on weekends and a vendor also sits daily in evening hour and you can easily shop everything from jodhpur at the resort itself. June 22, 2024: Requested an update on the refund. No response received.

June 18, 2024: Internal email from The Artist House staff requesting approval for the refund. No action taken.

June 11, 2024: Notified The Artist House about the change in tour plans and requested a refund. No response received.

June 10, 2024: Received acknowledgment of the advance payment and confirmation of booking details. Requested a refund due to a change in plans. No response received.

June 7, 2024: Made a 30% advance payment for the booking and shared a screenshot for confirmation.

I went to jodhpur and had a chance to stay at this location. Superb place, great view also near to a cave temple, and this place is near to kaylena lake as well on top of the mountain.
