The hotel is quite good, but because it's a fab you can experience a shift of accomodation, by this I mean first they'll confirm your booking in this stay and on the day of stay they'll say that they have moved your stay to some other place. Rooms:5 Service:3 Location:3

The room has a damp smell .. and unhygienic plus the menu charge is that of a 4 star restaurant. Who charges 30 rs for a water bottle and 50rs for a Nescafe coffee . That's barely hot . hope this message finds you well. I am writing to provide feedback regarding my parents’ recent stay at your hotel in Mussoorie, which was intended to be a special anniversary trip but turned out to be a deeply disappointing experience.

We chose your hotel based on its appealing online presentation and the information provided on MakeMyTrip. However, upon arrival, my parents faced significant challenges that were not disclosed beforehand. They arrived at the hotel at 5 PM, only to discover that the distance to the mall road was grossly misrepresented. The 190 meters mentioned was misleading, as the reality is that private vehicles are not permitted on the mall road after 4 PM. Consequently, they found themselves stuck in a queue for four hours, waiting to reach the hotel via an alternate route.

While other hotels were able to send their own vehicles to Ambedkar Chowk with staff assistance for luggage, we repeatedly called your hotel for support. Unfortunately, we were informed that your vehicle was "not working," leaving my parents to carry their own luggage on foot. They had to navigate a steep, descending path for nearly 1.5 hours, which was especially taxing given their age. They finally reached the hotel at 9 PM, exhausted and frustrated, after arriving in Mussoorie at 5 PM.

Upon entering their room, they were met with an unbearable stench, which required staff intervention with a spray. Additionally, the bathrooms were leaking and emitted an awful odor. The food served was subpar, adding to their disappointment.

On the morning of checkout, the atmosphere in the lobby was chaotic, as a group of younger guests expressed their frustration over similar experiences. They were astonished that my parents managed to handle the ordeal, given the strenuous conditions.
Overall, this experience was far from what we anticipated, and it has left a lasting negative impression. I would strongly advise potential guests to reconsider staying at your hotel, as the service and conditions do not align with what is advertised. Rooms:1 Service:1 Location:1

It’s right in the heart of Mussoorie, so you’re close to all the cool stuff.

I had recently stayed at wood views hotel at and would like to say that rooms were clean and view was good from the room but food was cold and below average. The most disappointment point of this hotel is it's location. It's on sloop and once u are at the hotel you don't feel going out as it's too much of effort to climb the hill just to reach the mall road . If u have adults travelling with you then don't book this hotel it's tough as hotel doesn't provide any vehicle for transport to main road. Rooms:4 Service:5 Location:1

Centrally located on the mall road in Mussoorrie, this hotel is definitely a quiet place and a must for check in if you want solace from the daily hustle and bustle.
Rooms are big enough to offer a touch of luxury, staff are courteous.
The only disappoinemt is the final approach to the hotel which is almost at 45 degreees sloping downwards and can create some problem for the elderlies or people with joint/knee issues. Although the hotel does have an electric buggy to take care of your small trek to reach the mall road.

Although the hotel indicates that it is air conditioned, there are no ACs installed as the weather is generally cool in Mussoorrie.
**Pls also do watch out for some monkey menace as the hotel is situated over a gorge with thick foliage and which the monkeys call home---dont leave your kids and other valuable items unattended out in the open else the monkey gang would wipe it out** Rooms:4 Service:4 Location:5

Worst ever rooms and service possible at worst location!
1. The owner is descent but the staff is very rude
2. No kettle, no heater available
3. No proper view
4. All rooms have dirty blankets and bedsheets (we checked 3 to 4 rooms)
They didn't even change them when asked to do so
5. Staff is very very rude and has lot of ego (even a family scolded them too hard for that)
6. No proper water flow

If you manage your self with your luggage to walk almost 1.5 km from library chowk to ambedkar chowk and almost 4 story down with your luggage. You will need to bring your luggage at your own. Staff will not help you out. We were five with 12 luggage. First time we felt such experience. It seems like we were on treking rather resting in hotel.

Mineral water was not available at hotel. Extra mattress was got arranged after many calls and request (which was on package). Staffs was rude - their answer will let you feel that it was your big mistake to book this hotel.

So think before you book this hotel and get ready for treking with luggage 😂
