If some HARSH NEGATIVE OPTION would have been available I would have definately go for it. Even after confirmed booking, the hotel staff rudely denied any booking and shown very unparliamentary behaviour. Booking was confirmd at around 10 am in the morning and after reaching the hotel at around 10 pm in night (same day), the hotel staff denied booking. Even the agency STAYBOOK through which the booking was made, stopped responding to my calls. THANK GOD I HVE NOT MADE ANY ADVANCE BOOKING AMOUNT ELSE I would have lost the said booking amount also. Moreover while booking, the amount shown as Rs.875/- plus taxes i.e. Rs.1025/- but the confirmation mail from STAYBOOK asked me to pay Rs.1499/- (for single bed room). Why this price suddenly shoot up . .that too within a few hours, only God knows.
I know, the reply from this hotel will be WE ARE SORRY YOU HAVE TO FACE SUCH SITUATIONS . .BLA . . BLA . .BLA . . but I would like to ask one question from the responder . . WHETHER THE HOTEL WILL TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE MENTAL AGONY WHICH I HAD UNDERGONE ON THAT LATE NIGHT ?
