Once upon a time a good hotel for backpackers this place is going downhill, regretfully, due to utter neglect & pathetic housekeeping & maintenance.
Room 103 had a ceiling fan that went full blast like a chopper due to a faulty regulator. AirCon and the water geyser were switched on/off as per the whim & fancy of the management and the room-service staff. Toilets too seemed to be un-sanitized between bookings hence all fittings & fixtures were in a sorry state.
I opted for this bird-nest since the front desk agreed to a slot for my m/cycle that I was touring on but later asked me to move/park it amongst electric-rickshaws. This was to facilitate the hotel 'boss' to park his car instead.
There is/was a lift facility luckily at the hotel.
No restaurant so food came off a hotel/kitchen next-door with escalated prices so I stopped ordering post 1st meal. There are hotels/eateries aplenty around so best to explore. Stay at this place IF at all but bargain over the tariff since rooms are small & can not accommodate family of 4. Solo travelers are OK. Rooms:3 Service:1 Location:3

The room are very dirty.The toilet seats are broken.Very filthy rooms.And moreover they switched off the AC at 8 Am even if you paid till check out.Rhe another scam they do is in fooding.Never order the dinner in room they will bring the food from street side dhaba and they will charge unexpected high charges. Location near a road intersection with lots of honking.
Dirty and smelly room. One night I found a mouse under the bed.

We walked in to Jaiwana haveli were greeted by the wonderful staff. The room was spacious clean. The food at the rooftop is delicious. Staff are attentive to details looked after us well. Jaiwana haveli is good property right in the city center |Walking distance from all major attractions |Monsoons is superb time to visit udaipur the view from the roof top is spectacular you dont feel like leaving.
