Gulmarg’s Gondola ride is World’s second longest and second highest cable car in the World.
They have limited seats for Phase 1 and Phase 2. The tickets can be purchased online through their portal jkcablecar. They will show you how many tickets are available for a particular day.
The fees for phase 1 per person is 740 rupees and for phase 2 is 920 rupees. And one has to buy phase 1 for going till phase 2 cause there is no direct route for phase 2. First cable car will drop at phase 1 i.e. Kangdoori peak and from their the other cable car takes you to second phase i.e. Apharwat peak.
I went in the month of June, so the phase 1 had nothing special so can be skipped. So we went to Phase 2 which had snow.
There are large queues, so to avoid or skip them, one can hire a guide or a helper who is a localite and has connections. So, they help to skip queues and help you in all sorts of ways.
If you are planning to head to Kashmir for travel, one must include this place in their bucketlist as it will be a lifetime of experience.

Gulmarg Gondola ride is a must to do activity if you are in Gulmarg for the first time. Phase 1 is not that great but phase 2 is definitely worth the experience. Absolutely insane snowfall during the first week of April. The queue is a bit long but it's all worth it after you enter the gondola.
