The worst experience is that the sound of the branches of the trees continuously rubbing the top of our plastic sheet roof. The row we of this place is ignorant of this massive irritant for any person trying to sleep. You won’t believe that these sounds are like an elephant trumpeting, sounds of construction going on, etc. Both our rooms had this problem. My mother couldn’t sleep properly as she is a light sleeper. So, any light sleepers reading this; Berware‼️
This owner has consciously chosen to not trim the branches of the trees. Guys, please avoid this place for your own peace sake 👎🏻 It is scary, irritating, etc..

The tents are good 👍🏻 Ambience is nice 😊

The buffet has a very small variety of dishes. Disappointing❗️

Location is good; right at the bank of the stream.

Owner is not proper 👎🏻 He comes and eats at the buffet. Doesn’t even bother to ask customers for feedback. Forget that, he doesn’t even look at the them and greet / acknowledge even 🙀

When we checked in, the receptionist informed us of a cultural program that is happening in the evening. He courteously invited us to this folklore dance. When it was 8 PM, we were knocked and reminded and in the next 10 seconds, reminded again by a call to our room landline 📞 I mean, who does this 🤷🏻‍♂️ A guest doesn’t have a right to be at peace in his room, is it ⁉️ In 10 minutes, everyone from all the tents had arrived to the program. Little did we know that this was a way to earn more bucks 💵 There were some African origin locals dancing and pressuring us to handout cash 💴 And we hadn’t even carried any from our room; as we had come in our pyjamas 🙆🏻‍♂️ And many other people were in the same awkward situation 🙅🏻‍♂️ Hotel did not even bother to inform us about this cash situation priorly 🤨 Anyways, the dance was fun and stunts were amazing 🤩 Rooms:1 Service:4 Location:3

Stayed in a cottage here ! The setting of the resort is amazing as it sits in a lush green mango orchards with plenty of flora fauna around .
Rooms are set up for a comfortable and peaceful stay . Superb Food and service quality and with a special mention of Pintu Meena. A bonus of staying here is the enjoyment of abundance of greenery inside & flora fauna and a small river outside , wherein one can watch crocodile family lazing around the river bed . Cost is too high.
No facility for senior citizens.

Everything is great about this place... The tents, cottages, amenities - the food is wonderful. Although the location is great, deep in the jungle. It's just the accessibility to this place is quite bad - 1.5 kms of pathetic road. Rooms:5 Service:5 Location:3

A real hidden gem wihin the forest , with all modern amenities and great food and even better staff. This resort is located at a remote inskirt location bt it really adds value to its theme, you actually can feel living inside a forest which is just amazing, the rooms are clean bt a little too compact, amenities are modern and feels luxurious, over n all a very nice experience Rooms:4 Service:5 Location:5

Our family had an incredible experience staying at Gir Jungle Safari Lodge. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality that set the tone for a perfect vacation. The rooms were spacious, clean, and provided a beautiful view of the surrounding nature.

Beautiful and quiet place with so much plantation. 10-15 mins away from Gir safari. Staff is prompt and food is delicious. It's a well maintained place. The river along the property is a perk where you get to see a wide variety of birds.Overall a great stay even if you want to just stay in and relax. I will recommend this place for staying in Gir. It was an awesome experience. I stayed in the luxury cottage for two nights. The location is off route and that’s the biggest plus point of this resort. It’s on a river bank. The location offers awesome view of flora and fauna, especially birds in the morning hours along the river bank. Also one can see lots of crocodiles which are there in the river. For seeing crocodiles one has to take a trail across the dam on the river. These crocs are used to the habitat and also used to survive along with cattle which roam freely. Also the villagers roam about freely on river banks.

The property is well maintained and well kept. It’s full of trees. One can really feel the jungle vibes due to the location and the property itself. The staff behaviour was good.

Food is amazing but costly. Since the market is bit far, we took all meals at the restaurant. The service is not excellent but okay.

Overall even if one spends two nights here, do bird watching on hiran river and go for crocodile trail, it’s worth the experience. We didn’t get the main safari tickets but we were satisfied for staying in such an amazing property.
Tip: to reach here go till Sasan market Bank of Baroda and from there take the road opposite to the bank. It’s a kutcha track. Keep following it till the resort. At night you can get a feeling of going nowhere as it is totally dark track but it’s okay. We entered the resort at night with my full family in a hatchback. There was no issue at all. Hotel food is good as well as the view surrounding nearby this hotel is great which will be give Gir forest view. In front of this hotel there is pond which have crocodiles.
