A touring festival showcasing the works of artists from diverse countries in unique venues. The photo exhibition is held at approximately 10 venues throughout Kyoto City, utilizing unique locations such as private sites, traditional Kyoto temples and shrines, modern architecture, and contemporary galleries. It began in 2013 and will be held for the 14th time in April 2026. The main program exhibition is the focal point of each event. Co-founders/co-directors Lucille Reyboz and Yusuke Nakanishi choose one major theme each year and curate the exhibition around that theme. Through close collaboration with participating artists, curators, venues, and sponsors, we are creating a program that illuminates the theme in multiple ways. Through this festival, we aim to introduce outstanding Japanese artists to the world, introduce international artists who are not yet well-known in Japan to Japan, continue to propose viewing society and the world from a broader perspective through the medium of photography, and at the same time, create a platform for nurturing and promoting the next generation of world-class artists. -Date and Time-• Event period: April 18th (Sat) - May 17th (Sun), 2026 • Opening hours: Opening hours and closing days vary by venue. Last entry is 30 minutes before closing time.
