You need original hardcopies of three essential documents: your driving license from the country where you reside (note that temporary or paper licenses are not acceptable), an International Driving Permit issued under the Geneva Convention 1949 by a recognized authority in your home country, and your passport.Note on IDPs: Ensure your IDP is obtained through an approved organization within your nation, such as AAA for US residents or CAA for Canadians. Be aware that Vienna Convention 1968 IDPs are not valid in Japan. Your permit must be the booklet type; digital or paper versions won't suffice. If you cannot present a hard copy of your IDP on activity day, participation is denied and refunds will not be issued. It's crucial to acquire an IDP before traveling since it can’t be obtained within Japan. Remember that ensuring valid documentation falls under the customer’s responsibility—failure in this regard means denial from participating without any refund.For visitors hailing from Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, Monaco, Taiwan, and Estonia: you must provide your country's original driving license (temporary or paper licenses are not accepted), an official Japanese translation of that license by JAF (Japan Automobile Federation), and a passport. US Military Personnel can drive with either a SOFA License (USFJ Form 4EJ) or a combination of Active Military ID and State-Side Driver’s License.Unfortunately, visitors from China, Brazil, and Indonesia are unable to participate in driving activities as these nations do not belong to the Geneva Convention of 1949.

What to Bring

Make sure you wear comfortable clothing along with closed-toe shoes that are suitable for driving.

What’s Not Allowed

Alcohol consumption prior to your tour is strictly forbidden. Additionally, infants and children under 18 years old cannot participate; there are no infant seats available, and they must not be seated on laps during the activity.

Accessibility

Please note that this experience does not accommodate wheelchair users. Pregnant travelers should also avoid participating for safety reasons.

Additional Information

Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled booking time for check-in, a comprehensive safety briefing, and the go-kart demonstration; there is only a maximum of 10-minute grace period allowed for late arrivals. Refunds will not be issued in cases where documentation is missing or if intoxication occurs on tour day. Should your tour be canceled due to inclement weather conditions, you are entitled either to a full refund or an opportunity to reschedule based upon availability.
