What You Can't Bring Along
Outside food and drinks aren’t permitted during this experience. Also, pets are not allowed due to venue restrictions. Large bags or backpacks larger than 22 x 15 x 8 inches (55 x 38 x 20cm) can't be taken inside the attraction. Individuals under 18 must have a guardian present for entry.
Accessibility Features
The experience is accessible to wheelchair users and those with prams or strollers. Guide dogs are also welcome at the venue, ensuring everyone has an inclusive visit.
Important Visitor Notes
You should be ready for x-ray security checks upon arrival. It’s a good idea to check the official website before your trip for accurate timings. Keep in mind that opening and closing hours might change depending on events happening at the site.Planned maintenance work is scheduled from February through May 2026, during which some areas of The View from The Shard will be temporarily closed. Between April 6 and May 31, 2026, there won’t be a step-free route between Levels 68 and 69, which may impact guests with mobility needs or those using wheelchairs since alternative routes won't be available during this time. Some sections of the viewing platforms might also have partial closures. Level 72 will remain closed for the entire duration of the maintenance period.
