What to bring

Your smartphone with internet access is essential, along with your digital voucher—printing or taking screenshots won't work. Remember that shoes, socks, and stockings must be removed upon entry. Some exhibits involve walking through water up to knee height; dress accordingly. If you're wearing sandals or high heels, free flat shoes are available for use. It's advisable to bring a change of clothes for small children or wear clothing suitable for wet conditions since damp garments aren't allowed in the next exhibit—towels will be provided if needed.

What’s not allowed

Once you exit, re-entry is prohibited. Eating, drinking, and smoking are forbidden inside the venue. Items deemed dangerous, inappropriate, or restricted by staff cannot enter. Commercial photography or media reporting requires prior consent. Pets and animals, including assistance dogs, aren't permitted. Visitors under the influence of substances or displaying improper behavior may be denied entry without a refund. Large luggage is not allowed due to dark corridors, water, and uneven floors. Pregnant visitors are advised against visiting some areas for safety reasons. The artworks with water contain chlorine in safe concentrations. Some sections have bright lighting while others are very dim; proceed carefully. Holding your child's hand at all times within the venue is necessary.

Accessibility

If you use a wheelchair, transferring to museum-provided wheelchairs may be required for certain areas (availability limited). Canes and prosthetic limbs are permitted; staff will assist in navigating accessible routes. Visitors with disabilities or small children can request alternate pathways that bypass specific artworks. Baby carriers are allowed inside the exhibition space. Diaper-changing stations and a first-aid room for nursing/resting purposes are available—ask staff to access these facilities. Free lockers (W23cm × D34cm × H37cm) are situated after the entrance gate. It's best not to visit if you're pregnant, carrying children, or have health conditions such as seizures, shortness of breath, or sensitivities to darkness, bright lights, confined spaces, or heights.

Additional Information

You can go straight to the information desk upon entry and present your voucher. This ticket allows you to skip the entrance queue but doesn't grant priority access within individual exhibits. Entry is permitted only between opening time and one hour before closing. teamLab Planets, located in Toyosu, does not accept this ticket for other venues like teamLab Borderless. All guests on a single booking must enter together; separate entries are disallowed. During peak times, staff may request you to limit your stay inside the venue. Some artworks might be temporarily unavailable due to weather conditions or maintenance work.

Exchange your voucher at any major Tokyo Metro or Toei Subway station by scanning its QR code on ticket vending machines for a subway ticket. This exchange isn't possible at certain stations such as Kitasenju (Hibiya Line), Nakameguro, Nakano, Nishi-Funabashi, Yoyogi-Uehara, Wako City, Shibuya (Hanzomon & Fukutoshin Lines), and Meguro.
