Getting started

Arrive at the skydiving base on Rottnest Island. After check-in, you’ll receive a safety briefing, be fitted with a jumpsuit and harness, and meet your certified tandem instructor who will guide you through the entire jump.

What to expect

• The climb: Soar up to your chosen altitude—10,000 ft for a 30-second freefall or 15,000 ft for a 66-second freefall, while enjoying aerial views of Thomson Bay, The Basin, and the island’s hidden coves.
• The jump: Leap from the plane with your instructor at speeds up to 200 km/h, feeling the full adrenaline rush of freefall above Rottnest’s beaches and turquoise waters.
• The descent: At around 5,000 ft, your parachute deploys, allowing a 5–7 minute float above the island. Take in views of the coastline and beaches from above.
• The touchdown: Land safely on one of Rottnest Island’s pristine beaches—Thomson Bay, Bickley Bay, or Fairbridge Bluff, still buzzing from your unforgettable experience.

What to bring

• Wear closed shoes like trainers or running shoes to protect your feet from bumps or brushes against the airplane or ground.

What’s not allowed

• Loose items are not allowed on this experience. It is recommended to keep them with the staff or leave them in your accommodation.
• Guests are not allowed to consume alcohol before their scheduled skydive jump time.
• This experience is restricted for guests under the age of 16 years and over the weight of 95kg.

Accessibility

• This experience is not suitable for pregnant women and guests with epilepsy or cardiac issues or those who've recently undergone knee reconstruction heart surgery.

• The meeting point is at Rottnest Island Airport, Brand Way, Rottnest Island.
• Guests under 18 must have a parent or guardian present to provide consent and sign paperwork on jump day.
• While the weight limit is 95kg, guests over 95kg must contact the staff for further details.
• You can add skydiving photos and videos to your package at an extra cost.
• Guests with spectacles or contact lenses will be provided with big goggles.
• Skydiving is a weather-dependent activity. Arrive with no time constraints. If the weather is unfavorable, your jump will be rescheduled to a date that best suits you.
