What to bring
- You'll need an ID for this experience.
Closed shoes such as trainers or running shoes are recommended to protect your feet from the aircraft and ground contact during skydiving.
What’s not allowed
- The use of electronic devices, including cameras and video equipment, is prohibited on the aircraft and throughout the jump.
- Dentures or loose items are disallowed. It's best to leave them with staff or at your accommodation before participating.
- Alcohol consumption within 8 hours prior and drug use are not permitted; avoid scuba diving for 24 hours before your skydive jump time.
This activity is limited to guests aged 16+ and under 115 kg. Those over 105 kg require a safety assessment by a drop zone officer or tandem instructor regarding harness fit.
Accessibility
- Pregnant women, as well as individuals with epilepsy or cardiac issues, should not participate in this experience.
If you have a dislocated shoulder but wish to join, inform the staff so they can arrange an alternate freefall position for your safety and comfort.
Additional information
- The drop zone is located at Skydive Great Ocean Road in Barwon Heads Airport, about 1 hour from Melbourne.
- Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian on jump day to sign necessary paperwork.
- Complete an online check-in form and pre-register with the Australian Parachute Federation (APF) before arriving at the drop zone.
- The weight limit is 115 kg, but additional charges apply: +AUD $55 for weights between 94–104kg, +AUD $80 for 105–114kg, and +AUD $105 for those over 115kg.
- You can purchase extra photos and videos of your skydive at an additional cost.
- Big goggles will be provided to guests wearing spectacles or contact lenses.
