- No outside food, pets, cigarettes, or drinks are permitted inside the Art Gallery of NSW. Bags larger than cabin size aren't allowed at either venue; backpacks must be carried by hand or worn on your front while in the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia.
Large bags, luggage, skateboards, selfie-sticks, tripods, monopods, scooters, and flower arrangements are prohibited inside both venues.
Accessibility Features
- The experience is accessible to wheelchairs and prams/strollers. Complimentary wheelchairs and mobility scooters can be used in the Art Gallery of NSW; ID may be requested for use. Wheelchairs are also available at the Museum of Contemporary Art, obtainable from the information desk on level 1.

- Magnifying lenses and EnChroma glasses can be borrowed free of charge within the Art Gallery; hand-held magnifiers are accessible through the welcome desk at Naala Nura, ground floor. An audio-induction loop is available in both the Domain Theatre and Centenary Auditorium, with hearing augmentation systems provided in the Members Lounge and children’s art library at the Art Gallery of NSW.

The venue offers toilets, parking, carer rooms, and a cloakroom. Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times within the Art Gallery of NSW.
