• Dress code: Be sure to bring swimwear (either under your clothes or packed in a bag), lightweight beachwear like a cotton T-shirt, tank top, or beach dress, shorts or quick-dry trousers, flip-flops or water sandals (avoiding heavy shoes), a wide-brimmed hat or cap, and sunglasses with UV protection.

• With a Sinai-only entry stamp, you can go to Ras Mohamed by boat only, not by land.

• With a full Egyptian tourist visa, you can visit Ras Mohamed by land or boat.
