What to bring

• All guests, including children, should carry a valid passport or ID card since admission staff may need these for age verification and special rates eligibility checks.

What’s not allowed

• Please note that food & beverages, narcotic substances, sharp metallic tools, or objects are prohibited. Pack accordingly!
• A strict dress code is enforced: shoulders and knees must be covered; tank tops, strapless shirts, short shorts, skirts above the knee, exposed backs/bellies, see-through clothing, flip-flops, bare feet, swimwear, festive attire, or attention-drawing religious/promotional designs are not permitted.
• Hats and caps are generally prohibited unless worn for religious, spiritual, or medical reasons.
• Photographic, sound, and video recording equipment require prior authorization in writing from the Press Department to be allowed on-site.
• Larger bags, rucksacks, luggage, and personal items will undergo security checks at entry points.

Accessibility

• The experience is accessible for wheelchair users except when visiting the towers.
• You are welcome to bring your guide dogs along on this visit.

Additional information

• Your entry time into the basilica is fixed; arriving more than 15 minutes late will not be accommodated. Arriving early ensures you won't miss out.
• The fast-track option helps bypass ticket queues but does not exempt visitors from security screenings, which may cause brief delays—try to visit during less busy times for a smoother experience.
• Children under 6 years old, unaccompanied minors below 18, individuals with reduced mobility or visual impairments, those prone to vertigo, and people with cardiovascular issues are not permitted in the towers.
• Your entry is restricted solely to your designated guide. Review meeting point details on your ticket voucher carefully.
• Access to the towers may be suspended due to adverse weather conditions without prior notice.
• To exit the towers, you must use stairs; elevators are only available for ascending.
• A short wait between basilica tours and tower access might occur because of limited elevator availability.
• The tour guide will not accompany visitors to the towers—this part is self-guided.
