Built as the historic palace of the House of Savoy, the mansion features several apartments that overlook the gardens and the piazza. One key highlight during your visit will be the Royal Armoury. Find here suits of armor from the 16th and 17th centuries lined against the halls, along with advanced weaponry from the era. There is also the Chapel of the Holy Shroud that was only reopened in 2018 after a lengthy restoration, following a fire in 1997. Don't miss out on visiting the Royal Library, too.
