This experience offers deep insights into Spain’s royal heritage by showcasing over 650 works in paintings, sculptures, tapestries, and decorative arts. The Royal Collections Gallery is situated beside the palace itself.

• The gallery’s design begins on the top floor with gently sloping ramps. Informative videos guide you through as you make your way down to explore the collection further.

• After exploring, relax at the museum café or browse for selected souvenirs in their shop.
• Skip-the-line entry maximizes your time to explore rather than waiting in queues.

The Royal Palace of Madrid & Royal Collections Gallery is open Monday through Saturday from 10am–8pm, and on Sundays plus holidays from 10am–7pm. The last entry is permitted 45 minutes before closing each day.

• Free access to the Royal Palace of Madrid for EU & Ibero-American citizens with valid ID: Mon-Thurs between Oct-Mar at 4pm-6pm, and Apr-Sep from 6pm–8pm.
• Your ticket is valid for seven days post your initial visit but cannot be used during free entry hours (Mon–Thurs, 6pm–8pm) to the Royal Collections Gallery.
• Free admission includes children under 5 years old, ICOM/ICOMOS members, official tour guides, teachers with proof of employment status, unemployed individuals, and persons with disabilities at 33% or more, along with one essential companion if certified.
