  • To preserve the tower, please refrain from bringing metal objects, bags, or containers.

Accessibility

  • The Tower climb involves 273 steep steps without elevators, making it unsuitable for wheelchair users and guests with cardiovascular conditions.

  • Children under 8 cannot climb, and those aged 8–18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Additional Information

  • Timed entry to the Tower is strictly enforced; please arrive at least 15 minutes before your reserved slot. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated.

  • If your chosen time slot is unavailable due to high demand, a new slot will be assigned within an hour before or after your original choice. Please note that time at the top of the Tower is limited to 30 minutes.

  • Access to the Cathedral is free but requires a timed pass if visited independently. This pass is automatically included with any Pisa Complex ticket, including Tower entry.

  • Remember to wear modest clothing covering knees and shoulders as the visit includes entry to the Cathedral and the Baptistery.
