Meet your guide beneath the arch at Porta Santa Maria/Nuova in Piazza Manin. After a quick check-in and ticket validation, your licensed guide will introduce the day’s highlights before leading your small group into the heart of Piazza dei Miracoli.

What to expect

Your tour begins with your guide briefing you on the history, significance, and layout of the Square of Miracles, giving you the context to fully appreciate each monument you’ll visit.

Pisa Cathedral

Follow your guide into the heart of this Romanesque marvel and discover its symbolic artwork, towering columns, and dramatic history rooted in medieval Pisa. 

Pisa Baptistery

Your guide will point out the Baptistery's layered architecture—Romanesque at the base and Gothic above—and explain how its double dome creates the famous echo effect heard inside.

Camposanto Monumentale

Walk through the cloisters of the Monumental Cemetery as your guide explains the meaning behind the “Triumph of Death” fresco, points out ancient Roman sarcophagi, and shares how soil from Golgotha gave the site its sacred status.

Leaning Tower

Towards the end, your guide will reveal the fascinating history and engineering behind the Tower’s iconic tilt before you begin your independent climb turning every step into a deeper appreciation of its architectural wonder.

What's not allowed

• In order to preserve the tower, any metal objects, bags, or containers are not allowed in.

Accessibility

• The tower is not accessible to wheelchair users.
• Children under 8 cannot access the tower for safety reasons.

Additional information

• Please note that the headsets are available only if the group is bigger than 6 people.
• Your guide will share all insights before the Tower climb, leading to a more enriching ascend with deeper appreciation for its structural quirks.
• While inside the Cathedral, it is required to cover both the shoulders and knees.
