• Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are recommended, as some areas may have uneven terrain.

• While there’s no strict dress code, please pick your outfits keeping in mind the solemn nature of the memorial and cemetery sites.

What's not allowed

• For security reasons, bags of any kind, including backpacks, purses, fanny packs, and luggage, are not permitted.

• Choose clothing with secure pockets to carry small essentials like your phone or wallet.

• Swimsuits, offensive graphics, or inappropriate attire are not allowed at any site.

• Avoid leaving valuables on the tour bus and bring only what you need.

• As a memorial site, please maintain respectful behavior by avoiding loud conversation, eating, chewing gum, or taking selfies and inappropriate poses at the memorials.

Additional information

• A light jacket is a smart choice, as island weather can be unpredictable with occasional rain or cool breezes.

• The tour is closed on Thanksgiving (November 27), Christmas (December 25), and New Year's Day (January 1).
