• The Nishimonai Bon Odori dance, held every August in Ugo Town, Akita Prefecture, is a traditional Japanese performing art that has been designated an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property of Japan. • A new viewing experience will be launched this summer for the first time, allowing you to fully enjoy the mysterious dance and charming streetscape in a special space. • This accommodation facility is a renovated old house, and you can enjoy the Bon Odori dance from a special seat without leaving your room.
An overwhelmingly special location where you can watch the festival right in front of you. Bonjuku U is located along Nishimonai Honmachi Street, the main venue for the Nishimonai Bon Odori festival. At the Nishimonai Bon Odori Hall on the opposite bank of the street, a watchtower is set up for a limited time, and powerful music is played.
Enjoy French cuisine from one of Tohoku's most renowned restaurants. A special buffet featuring local ingredients and drinks will be served at Remède Nikaho (Nikaho City, Akita Prefecture), a renowned French restaurant that has been featured in the prestigious French gourmet guide Gault & Millau for three consecutive years. *Food will be served buffet style.
