The National Aquarium in Abu Dhabi offers an epic scale of design along with over 35,000 aquatic animals from more than 300+ species. This includes fish, birds, amphibians, arachnids, and reptiles. The aquarium is part of Al Qana's vision reflecting the United Arab Emirates' Vision 2030.

Conservation & Education

The National Aquarium ensures all its marine animals are responsibly sourced globally. It features an extensive underwater tunnel for a fascinating visitor journey. The aquarium includes 60 educational exhibitions, interactive sessions, and live-feeding experiences as part of its conservation efforts. An education department offers entertaining shows to enhance learning.

The Magical Mermaid Show

This live underwater performance features mermaids gliding through the waters of The National Aquarium Abu Dhabi and is designed for families and children of all ages. Scheduled from August 23–24 and August 30–31, showtimes are at 4pm, 5pm, and 6pm.

The 30-minute Magical Mermaid Show combines ocean life with theatrical storytelling, making it perfect for birthdays or family outings in Abu Dhabi. Aquarium staff assist families to ensure accessibility for toddlers, kids, and adults alike during this limited-time experience.
