Louvre Abu Dhabi Guided Kayak Tour

This 60-minute kayaking tour lets you experience the Louvre Abu Dhabi's striking architecture from the surrounding waters.

Getting started

Meet your guide at the kayaking sign near the museum's parking entrance. A golf cart takes you to the launch point (or walk 10-15 minutes). Your guide provides a safety briefing, fits your life jacket, and demonstrates paddle technique. No prior kayaking experience is needed.

What to bring

• Bring a valid ID.

• Reusable water bottle (water dispenser available onsite).

• Towel and change of clothes (you will get wet).

• Waterproof phone case or bag (provided by tour operator).

• Sunscreen and sunglasses.

• Comfortable water shoes or sandals that can get wet.

What's not allowed

• Large backpacks or bags (small bags only).

• Outside food or drinks.

• Smoking during the tour.

Accessibility

• Not suitable for wheelchair users: kayaking requires getting in and out of kayaks from a low platform.

• Not suitable for pregnant guests.

• Not suitable for guests with severe mobility limitations or recent injuries.

• Minimum age 6 years. Children ages 6-12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in a double kayak.

• Moderate physical fitness required: paddling for 60 minutes with occasional choppy water conditions.

Additional information

• This tour does not include entry to the Louvre Abu Dhabi museum, it's an outdoor water activity around the building.

• Tours operate daily, 7 days a week (including Mondays when the museum is closed).

• Waters can get choppy around the exterior but calm once you're near the museum.

• If you have any pre-existing medical conditions that might affect the normal conduct of your experience, please inform the guide.

• Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time slot for check-in and safety briefing.

• Changing rooms and toilets available at the launch point.

• Keep phones and cameras secured, the tour operator provides waterproof bags but is not responsible for dropped items.

• Life jackets mandatory for all participants and provided by the tour operator.
