Louvre Abu Dhabi offers a collection displayed across 12 galleries arranged chronologically to narrate artistic human history through common themes and stunning art installations.

Annual Exhibitions at The Louvre

The museum is renowned for hosting four temporary exhibitions annually, resulting from collaborations between Abu Dhabi and France. In partnership with 13 French museum partners, the institution presents exceptional artworks to Middle Eastern audiences. A notable exhibition, 'Post-Impressionism: Beyond Appearances,' runs from October 16, 2024, to February 9, 2025. This exhibit focuses on the transformative period between 1886 and 1905 with over 100 pieces by artists like Van Gogh, Gauguin, Cézanne, and Seurat who pioneered a departure from Impressionism’s naturalistic style. Notable works include Van Gogh's 'Bedroom at Arles,' showcasing his unique use of color. Selected in collaboration with the Musée d'Orsay, this exhibition traces post-impressionist developments into movements such as Fauvism and Cubism.
