The Livorno Aquarium is home to a range of marine creatures as well as reptiles, amphibians, and insects, and is spread across two levels. The ground floor is home to marine creatures. You can see Ari and Cuba, two green tortoises that swim in the Indo Pacific tank. Along with them, you will find back tip sharks, zebra sharks, and Napoleon fish in this tank. There is a display tank dedicated to jellyfish, and seeing them move together is a breathtaking experience. There are tanks dedicated to the Mediterranean Sea as well as the tropical seas, allowing you to see marine life from across the world. You can also travel back in time to ancient Rome and Greece, and see stunning technicolor recreations of coral reefs.

The first floor leaves the sea behind, and is dedicated to amphibians, reptiles, and insects. Some of the species seen here include the stick insect, iguanas, poisonous arrow frogs, chameleons and more!

Above the first floor is the Panoramic Terrace where you can catch stunning views of the Livorno coast and the Tuscan Archipelago islands.
