Closure Dates and Restrictions

Be aware that national monuments and museums are not open on certain days: January 1, Easter Sunday, May 1, December 24 and 25, plus municipal holidays like June 13 in Lisbon and June 29 in Sintra. These locations also close every Monday.

Redemption Guidelines

All cards must be exchanged at the same location where you initially collect them. If any museums or monuments are temporarily closed for renovation, this will be clearly indicated in your guidebook.
