Langkawi Underwater World
Situated in the heart of Langkawi, this aquatic wonder spans almost 6 acres. It's one of the island’s top spots to explore beneath the waves. The aquarium is home to more than 4,000 marine species and offers a fascinating look into Malaysia’s underwater world. Different sections like the Tropical Rainforest zone, Temperate area, and Sub-Antarctic region are set up so visitors can walk through ecosystems that feel almost real. A highlight is the tunnel filled with 500,000 liters of seawater — it's 15 meters long and lets you see giant sea creatures like stingrays and green turtles up close.
There’s also a section called "Penguinarium," which features a small tunnel where penguins can be seen swimming and playing. If you time your visit right, you might catch the feeding sessions — it's an educational way to learn about these birds while watching them interact with their trainers. After exploring everything, take some time at the shopping area or grab a coffee before heading back to your accommodation.
Crocodile Adventureland
Located in northwestern Langkawi, Crocodile Adventureland is Malaysia’s biggest crocodile park and also holds UNESCO Global Geopark Partner status. The site covers 10 acres and houses over 4,000 crocodiles — including rare species like the Tomistoma and Bujang Lang. Visitors can watch exciting feeding sessions where crocs jump for food or even take a photo with a baby crocodile to create lasting memories.
