Take the cable car to easily reach the View Land observation deck at Amanohashidate, and take the classic photo pose: turn your back, bend over, and look out over the Amanohashidate Sandbar from between your legs. It looks like a bridge connecting the sky and the sea, as magnificent as a flying dragon.
Amanohashidate, a sandbar that connects the azure sea and sky like a flying dragon, is hailed as one of the three most scenic spots in Japan.
You can throw a small tile through the Wheel of Wisdom to dispel misfortune and fulfill your heart's desires.
The Spiral Bridge: Famous for its unique rotating mechanical design, the Spiral Bridge connects the Skybridge and the Manjushri Temple on land for most of the time. When a boat needs to pass, the bridge slowly rotates to open the waterway, and you can even stand on the bridge and experience this amazing rotation firsthand! This unique interactive experience with the bridge is sure to be unforgettable.
Chion-ji Temple: Located next to Amanohashidate, Chion-ji Temple boasts over 800 years of history and enshrines Manjushri Bodhisattva, the Bodhisattva of Wisdom. It is one of the three major Manjushri temples in Japan. Not only is it a sacred place for praying for academic success, but it also houses one of the largest wooden doors in Japan, the "Golden Pavilion," and a 70-ton bell. The temple's fan-shaped fortune slips are unique; many visitors come specifically to draw one and hang the lucky slip on a pine tree for good fortune.
Amanohashidate Beach: fine white sand and clear water.
