Auschwitz-Birkenau and Wieliczka Salt Mine

Auschwitz-Birkenau, established in 1940, is the largest Nazi concentration camp and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your English-speaking guide will lead you through preserved barracks and memorials, sharing the historical context and personal stories behind this significant location.

• Auschwitz I: Walk through the original camp, including the infamous "Arbeit macht frei" gate, and see preserved barracks that reveal the daily realities faced by prisoners.

• Auschwitz II-Birkenau: Visit the vast grounds where mass deportations and tragic events unfolded, and witness the remains of the railway platform and crematoria.

• Wieliczka Salt Mine: Descend 135 meters underground to explore a centuries-old mine, recognized as a national Historic Monument, featuring intricate salt sculptures and chapels carved by miners.

What’s not allowed

• Large bags, luggage, or backpacks over 20 x 30 cm are not permitted inside the sites.

• Pets are not allowed.

• Weapons, sharp objects, alcohol, and drugs are strictly prohibited.

• Smoking is not permitted, including inside vehicles.

• Short skirts and sleeveless shirts are not allowed.

• Food and drinks are not included and cannot be brought into certain areas.

• Not suitable for babies under 1 year.

• The pickup time may change; the usual start is between 5am and 10am. The exact start time will be communicated the day before your tour via email.

• All participants must provide their full name and contact details matching their ID for entry to Auschwitz-Birkenau. Entrance may be refused if the name on the booking does not match the ID.

• The pace and duration of the tours are determined by the memorial's visitor service and may vary.

• For reasons beyond the operator's control, the tour may be canceled. A full refund will be provided if so.
