The pace and duration of the tours are determined by the memorial’s visitor service, so pick-up time/duration may change. Note that all participants must provide their full name during booking to enter Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial; entry could be denied if names on your ID don’t match those given at booking.For hotel pickups in Krakow's center, you’ll likely be picked up directly from there. However, for hotels outside this area or with limited access, the tour operator will arrange a nearby pickup location and inform you of it at least one day before your scheduled tour.This walking tour begins by descending 800 stairs; we suggest wearing sports shoes to ensure comfort during the climb back up. While exploring the Wieliczka Salt Mine, which is situated 135 meters below ground with temperatures ranging from 14 to 16 degrees Celsius, appropriate clothing is recommended for a pleasant experience.Please be aware that toilets near the museum require payment. Additionally, bag dimensions are restricted: Auschwitz-Birkenau allows bags up to 30 x 20 x 10 cm and Wieliczka Salt Mine permits those measuring no more than 35 x 20 x 20 cm.For safety reasons, a personal and baggage security check is mandatory for visitors at both the Wieliczka Salt Mine and Auschwitz-Birkenau.
