The Tamagawa Fireworks Festival commemorating Kawasaki's municipal organization is a historic fireworks festival that began in 1929 to commemorate the establishment of Kawasaki's municipal system. Every year, it features Star Mine and a collaboration of music and fireworks called "Hana Vision." In recent years, the festival has become even more spectacular as it has been jointly held with the Tamagawa Fireworks Festival in Setagaya Ward on the opposite shore.
