• This special ticket allows you to avoid long queues and gain priority entry to the temple grounds on the day of the Kanamara Festival. • This special plan, limited to 30 participants, offers a premium experience of the crowded Kanamara Festival in comfort. • This is a special opportunity to experience the "radish carving" ritual, a prestigious evening ceremony usually reserved for those involved in the festival, and to actually participate in a traditional Shinto ritual. • We will take a special tour of the normally closed "Kanayama Shrine Archives" with explanations from shrine staff, and learn about the history of the Kanamara Festival and sexual culture. • A special "Kanamara Festival Goshuin" (temple/shrine stamp) will be given to participants only, and will be inscribed with their name as a memento of their experience in the Shinto ritual.
Evening Festival Ritual Experience: "Radish Shaving" - A special opportunity to experience the evening festival ritual "radish shaving," which is usually only open to those involved. Under the guidance of skilled practitioners, you can participate in this ritual where an entire radish is shaped into the shape of a phallus.
Special Viewing of the Kanayama Shrine Archives (with commentary by shrine staff in Japanese): The Kanayama Shrine Archives, normally closed to the public, will be specially opened to the public with commentary by shrine staff. You can learn about the Kanamara Festival and the culture and history related to "sex" both in Japan and abroad.
Special Gift: Limited Edition "Komata" (This serves as a priority entry pass for the following day): The first 30 participants of this plan will receive a special "Komata" that grants priority entry to the Kanamara Festival the following day. Present this to the security guard to gain priority entry to the temple grounds.
Special Gift: "2026 Limited Edition Goshuin Stamp & Light Meal [Kawasaki-juku Specialty Nara-style Rice Dish Bento Box]": As a memento of your Shinto ritual experience, you will receive a special Goshuin stamp with your name on it.
