New Theme Unveiled: "NEW ERA" This year, HKICS presents a brand new theme, "NEW ERA" (A New Era of Illustration), showcasing the infinite possibilities of illustration and creative energy with a distinctive visual style. The vibrant fusion of diverse cultures and creative styles invites you to experience the vibe of creativity from multiple perspectives and step into the trend universe of the new generation.
2. Major IPs Make a Surprise Appearance: Check Out 9 Popular Brands! This year's exhibition has been upgraded again, expanding to two halls, Hall 3DE, with over 300 Hong Kong and 200 international cultural and creative brands and trending IPs showcasing their work. Nine popular IPs include NOMA, Wong Ah-ma, Deer Man, Sickyaki, Chuchu Girl, Talbi, ㄇㄚˊJi Rabbit, zepn1, and Beard Bumper. During the exhibition, IP mascots will also make surprise appearances, allowing for close-up interaction and photo opportunities!
3. Meet-and-greet events with three popular IPs will ignite the entire venue! The three-day exhibition will be packed with exciting events, featuring different IP stars each day. These include the super-popular IP "Huang Ama's Harem Life," boasting over 5 million fans, and "Deer Man" and "Chiu Chiu Girl," beloved by Hong Kong's youth and making their debut at an illustration exhibition. 4. "Walking with Buddha" Buddha Birthday Support POP UP HKICS presents a unique Buddha's Birthday themed experience! 7. Art Battle: A Clash of Arts in Digital Illustration! The 7th Hong Kong Schools Digital Illustration Competition is being held at HKICS for the first time! The top 16 primary and secondary school participants will compete on-site during the exhibition, showcasing their boundless creativity and talent. Audiences can witness the birth of new illustrators and experience the raw energy of creation firsthand!
8. A gathering of renowned industry brands, offering on-site trials of the latest products. Illustrators' and journal enthusiasts' favorite tool brands will all be present: PENTEL, the Japanese stationery giant; Camel, a renowned Hong Kong brand; Wacom, the master of digital drawing tablets; the unique original cultural tourism brand "Book Hong Kong Flavor"; and Fingerprint, a pioneer in innovative printing technology.
