Himeji Castle History Kyoka Suigetsu Admission Ticket (Hyogo Prefecture, Himeji City, Illumination)
• The much-anticipated autumn/winter event "Kyouka Suigetsu" will be held again this year. In addition to the popular water mirror performance, the projector mapping on the stone walls and the lighting of the rows of cherry blossom trees will create an elegant evening. • The Mukaiyashiki Garden and Sannomaru-oji Street of Himeji Castle from the Edo period are recreated with lighting effects. • All ticket purchasers will receive an event-exclusive castle seal! (Limited to paid visitors)• There are signs in the venue explaining the performance contents in English, and English-speaking staff are always on hand.
"Mukaiyashiki Garden and the Avenue of Light Reborn Through Time" A water mirror reminiscent of the garden pond and the Avenue of Light on Sannomaru have been recreated where the Mukaiyashiki Garden and Sannomaru Avenue once stood. A lighting tower designed after the kosode (short sleeved kimono) of the Edo period will brilliantly illuminate the water mirror, and Sannomaru Avenue will be illuminated with a life-size 100-metre stream of flowing light.
"Getsurin Garden" - A gate of light, balloon lanterns, and colorful lanterns are set up at the entrance to the venue, creating an atmosphere that makes you feel as if you have time-warped to another world. The gate of light is modeled after a moon ring, and the colorful lanterns and balloon lanterns create a fantastical atmosphere that captivates visitors.
"Stone Wall Mapping" The entire stone wall on the north side of the venue will be illuminated with projection mapping. The stone wall mapping that spreads out in front of Sannomaru Oji will create a new photo spot at the venue.
"Other Performances" On the way back, the cherry blossom-lined street will be lit up to create a fantastical atmosphere as if the cherry blossoms were in bloom, and a shadow puppet installation is a popular way to take commemorative photos.
