Also known as Ayers Rock, Uluru is one of Australia’s prime attractions. It is an ancient monolith made of sandstone that seemingly changes in color throughout the day. This iconic rock is an awe-inspiring phenomenon to visit in person.
Upon arrival at Uluru, your tour guide will provide you with a short safety briefing and Segway training. Once you’re ready to explore Uluru’s base with your tour guide, you'll head off on a full guided tour where you'll have a chance to learn about local Indigenous culture, desert landscapes, and mind blowing geology.
For travelers who have selected the optional transfers to/from Voyages Ayers Rock Resort, your tour guide will take you to the Mutitjulu Waterhole, an iconic Uluru attraction. For travellers opting to 'self-drive' and meet at the base of Uluru, be mindful that car hire or shuttle but transfers are required as Ubers and Taxi's are not available in the desert.
After you’ve had your fill of the waterhole, delve into the local Anangu culture as well as its flora, fauna, and geology. In the end, once you are back in the parking space, the tour ends with easy transfers from Uluru to your hotel.
