Aerial Delights & Subterranean Splendors

On a day of nature’s finest from Hobart, Tasmania, explore the lush Huon Valley, renowned for apple cultivation. Start your day at Tahune Adventures, where an Airwalk takes you on a thrilling journey 40m above the forest floor. Here, you'll be walking among the ancient Huon Pines, some of which are over 2000 years old. The tour also includes a daring traverse on the Swinging Bridges walk, a suspension bridge that hangs a whopping 100m over the Huon River, providing a stunning view of the river and the surrounding forest.

Thermal Pools & Timeless Caves

Unwind in the constant 28°C thermal pool at Hastings Caves, a natural relaxation point before you explore the underworld. A Parks & Wildlife guide will lead you through Newdegate Cave, a dolerite cathedral adorned with stalactites and stalagmites. This 40-million-year-old cave, still growing at a slow pace of one centimeter every 100 years, is Australia's largest tourist-accessible dolerite cave.
