After a brief pause, resume your trip to Omaha Beach's Normandy American Cemetery & Memorial. Watch a short moving documentary on American forces and explore the permanent exhibitions of the visitor center. As you walk through the cemetery say a silent prayer for the troops that fought the Battle of Normandy and witness the wreath-laying ceremony honoring the service and suffering of WWII veterans. You might even be chosen to take part in the event with your squad.
