From Lucerne: Grindelwald First - Top Adventure

Begin with a scenic morning drive to the Bernese Oberland, passing five picturesque mountain lakes as your multilingual guide shares engaging commentary along the way. Enjoy a photo stop in Interlaken before continuing to the charming mountain resort of Grindelwald.

From Grindelwald, take a cable car up to Mt. First and experience the exhilarating First Cliff Walk by Tissot, a 40-meter-long, one-rope suspension bridge offering breathtaking views and a surge of adrenaline.

Afterward, relax with a meal or refreshment on the sunny terrace of the Berggasthaus First restaurant. You’ll also have free time to explore the alpine village of Grindelwald at your own pace.

From April 1, 2026, the journey after Grindelwald will include a visit to the stunning Lauterbrunnen Valley, famous for its dramatic cliffs and cascading waterfalls, replacing the train ride to Interlaken. Please note that the tour may also operate in reverse order without prior notice. In such cases, the day begins in Lauterbrunnen, continues to Grindelwald with the Mt. First experience, and ends in Interlaken, where you rejoin your guide for the return journey to Lucerne.

• Wear comfortable footwear for walking on the First Cliff Walk and exploring the cobblestone alleys of Grindelwald village.

Additional information

• Until March 31, 2026, the tour is accompanied from Lucerne to Grindelwald and from Interlaken to Lucerne. For the individual ascent and descent at Mt. First and the train ride to Interlaken, tickets and a written itinerary are provided.

• From April 1, 2026, the tour may be operated in reverse order without prior notice, visiting Lauterbrunnen first, followed by Grindelwald (Mt. First) and Interlaken in the afternoon.

• All optional adventure activities are subject to availability and weather conditions. Long waiting times may occur, and time slots cannot be pre-booked. Tickets start from CHF 21 per activity.
