What to bring

  • Bring a valid government-issued photo ID with you.

  • A small, reusable water bottle can be carried, but note that it must remain sealed while inside the aircraft.

  • Dress in layers from March to September, and opt for warmer winter clothing between October and mid-March.

  • Comfortable sneakers or sturdy hiking boots are strongly recommended.

  • Avoid touching the delicate sandstone formations, as even light contact can cause damage.

  • Walking sticks, canes, or similar mobility supports are not permitted.

  • Large bags, tripods, monopods, and selfie sticks are banned within the canyon.

  • Pets and animals are not allowed inside the canyon.
