A strict dress code is enforced in the Cathedral. Visitors must wear clothing that covers both knees and shoulders. Additionally, sandals, headgear, and sunglasses are prohibited.
Accessibility
Please be aware: starting December 2, 2024, two elevators near the main staircase will be closed for maintenance work. The primary access involves a four-flight ascent with 126 steps total. Guests needing elevator assistance to reach the Gallery's main floor should go to the hall in front of the stairs upon entering the museum. Museum staff there will help you find the available elevators in the west wing.

The Accademia and Uffizi Gallery are highly popular, which may lead to delays due to heightened security or large crowds during special events. Your host is committed to minimizing these delays for quick access. Note that there will be around 3 hours of free time between the two tours.
