What's not allowed
A strict dress code is enforced in the Cathedral: knees and shoulders must be covered. Entry with sandals, headgear, or sunglasses will be denied.
Accessibility
Please note that from Dec 2, 2024, maintenance work means two elevators near the main staircase won't be available to visitors. The main staircase features four flights with a total of 126 steps. Guests who need an elevator for reaching the Gallery's main floor should head to the hall in front of the stairs upon entering and ask museum staff there for assistance to access the west wing elevators.

- The Accademia and Uffizi Gallery are extremely popular, which can lead to delays due to heightened security or large crowds during holidays. Your host will work diligently to minimize these delays and expedite your access.
- You'll have about three hours of free time between the two tours.
The itinerary might change: some days begin at the Uffizi Gallery, ending at the Accademia; other days start with the opposite order.
