The Republic Grandstand, situated near Gate 2 and the Promenade subway station, is perfect for viewing cars at full throttle. Day 1: Oct 3
3pm to 4pm: Free Practice 1 allows drivers a first chance on the track for car and circuit familiarization. This session lasts 60 minutes, with all teams participating.
6:30pm to 7:30pm: During Free Practice 2, another 60-minute practice follows a similar format as the initial one, open to all teams.
Day 2: Oct 4
3pm to 4pm: The morning session of Free Practice 3 is the last opportunity for team car setup adjustments before qualifying. It also lasts 60 minutes.
6:30pm to 7:30pm: Qualifying involves a competition for pole position, consisting of three parts—Q1, Q2, and Q3—with time-limited laps in each part. The five slowest drivers are eliminated from Q1, then again after Q2, leaving the fastest driver to secure pole position during Q3.
Day 3: Oct 5
5:30pm onwards: Race Day is the main event of the weekend. The race distance varies between 190 and 300 km (120-186 miles), with drivers starting in qualifying order, aiming to be first across the finish line.
