Getting started

Get picked up from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and settle in for a 90-minute drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels’ Ben Dinh site.

Cu Chi Tunnels

Start with a short film that introduces the tunnel network and its role during the Vietnam War. Then, explore the preserved underground maze—complete with living quarters, field hospitals, weapons storage, and booby traps once used by the Viet Cong. Wrap up your visit with a tasting of cassava and tea, a staple for soldiers who lived here during the war.

Lunch break

Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant before heading south toward the Mekong Delta.

Mekong Delta exploration

Cruise along the Tien River, passing Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise Islands. Visit a coconut candy workshop, enjoy seasonal fruits and honey tea, and learn about Delta life. Take a rowing boat through narrow canals and hop on a short village bike ride to see daily rural life up close.

Folk music & return

Wind down with a live performance of Southern Vietnamese folk music before making your way back to Ho Chi Minh City.

What to bring

• Wear comfortable shoes, as the terrain is rugged, and bring sunglasses, insect repellent, and a sun hat.

• Bring small bags or backpacks, as large items may hinder movement through the tunnels.

What’s not allowed

• Smoking is not allowed inside the tunnels.

Accessibility

• The experience is not wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible.

• This experience is not suitable for guests with mobility issues and claustrophobia as the terrain is uneven and the tunnels are very narrow.

• The pickup time for this tour is between 6:30am to 6:45 am.

• Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
