Prohibited Items & Activities
- No photography or video (with or without flash) is allowed after sunset during the Penguin Parade to ensure penguin safety.
- All attractions at Phillip Island Nature Parks accept only contactless payments, as cash transactions are not permitted.
The experience does not allow smoking, pets, animals, or drones.

Additional Information
- Certified assistance animals from a registered authority are welcome, provided they stay on designated paths and remain harnessed or leashed.
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times during the tour.
- The Penguin Parade begins with penguin arrivals around sunset each evening. Typical arrival times vary seasonally: from 8:30 to 9 pm in summer (Dec–Feb), 7 to 8 pm in autumn (Mar–May), 5:15 to 6 pm in winter (Jun–Aug), and 6:30 to 8 pm in spring (Sep–Nov).
- All proceeds support conservation, research, and wildlife rescue efforts at Phillip Island.
On Tuesday, July 29, 2025, both Churchill Island and the Koala Conservation Sanctuary will open two hours later than usual, starting at 12pm. Morning visitors should adjust their schedules accordingly.
