Chengdu, Sichuan | Western Sichuan Bamboo Sea Scenic Area
• The 100,000-mu bamboo forest offers a refreshing "forest breathing" experience: the air contains over 2 million negative oxygen ions per cubic meter, earning it the reputation of a "natural oxygen bar" and a "green valley"! • Thrilling high-altitude experiences: The park boasts several record-breaking high-altitude views that will challenge the limits of your senses! • Historical, cultural, and natural wonders: You will have the opportunity to visit the ancient Jinji Bridge, witness the wisdom of the ancients at the Song Dynasty papermaking site, as well as the mysterious cliff dwellings and the unique Shouting Spring, adding depth to your journey!
The scenic area boasts the Xianlv Muyun Bridge, the longest single-span, double-tower pedestrian suspension bridge in China, with the highest elevation above the ground. The bridge is 165 meters long, 1.5 meters wide, 105 meters above the ground, and has a span of 199 meters. Walking on the bridge feels like strolling among the clouds, hence its name.
Chengdu's First High-Altitude Glass Skywalk Atop a sheer cliff hundreds of meters long, the scenic area fully utilizes the canyon terrain, carving a path along the cliff face to create Chengdu's first high-altitude glass skywalk. The skywalk is 250 meters long, 1.5 meters wide, and nearly 100 meters above the ground. Standing on the glass skywalk feels like walking in the air, with your feet on clouds, soaring through the mist, allowing you to experience the magic of being thousands of meters above the ground, with panoramic views of countless ravines and valleys. It is hailed as the most dangerous "sky road."
The deep valley boardwalk is shrouded in mist. The Bamboo Sea of Western Sichuan features a narrow-bottomed canyon landscape, with bamboo forests covering the valley floor, creating a serene and cool atmosphere. Often shrouded in mist and vapor, it resembles a fairyland, making it an ideal spot for taking photos and short videos. The boardwalk, approximately 2 kilometers long, offers the best close-up view of the bamboo scenery and is also known as the Emerald Bamboo Corridor.
