• The Caminito del Rey trek starts at the north entrance in Ardales, proceeding southward towards El Chorro town as it's a one-way route.
• If driving solo, you can park your vehicle at the Visitor Centre Parking Lot.
• Have 2.50 EUR change ready to book and use the roundtrip shuttle service from the parking lot to the trek starting point for added convenience; this same shuttle will return you to your car.
• The trail spans a total of 7.7 KM (4.8 miles), so ensure physical readiness before embarking on it.
• Plan ahead by eating and using restroom facilities prior, as there are no stops available along the route for these needs.
• Guests aged between 8 to 18 must be accompanied by an adult; remember to bring your ID, passport, family book or equivalent document.
