What to bring

• Sun protection and a poncho or rain jacket are essential, as weather conditions can change unexpectedly.
• A refillable water bottle is recommended; however, there are water fountains available throughout the zoo.
• You're welcome to bring your own food and snacks since picnic areas are provided.
• For Mooloolaba Beach or the kids’ splash play area (where a complimentary towel is offered but swimwear must be brought), pack swimwear, a towel, and an extra set of clothes for beach visits.
• Cash or cards should accompany you; while ATMs and EFTPOS are present, cash comes in handy for small transactions.

Don't forget any personal medications required as basic supplies can be purchased at gift shops.

What’s not allowed

• Glass containers, alcoholic drinks, plastic straws, balloons, balls, frisbees, and kites are prohibited.

• Feeding animals is only allowed with food purchased from the zoo.
