The prayer area on the first floor is accessible only to Turkish citizens.

If you don’t have a scarf or body cover, both are available for purchase at the entrance. A scarf costs 1€ and a body cover is priced at 3€.
You can choose to take the Bosphorus cruise on the same day as your tour or the following day. Cruises depart in midday, afternoon, and also offer an evening option at 6pm from April through October.
Although you'll be able to skip the ticket lines, all guests must go through standard security screening. Be ready for wait times of up to one hour during busy periods.
Hagia Sophia is currently undergoing renovations, so not every area inside will be open to visitors at this time.
The Mosque closes between 12pm and 2pm on Fridays due to prayer services. To avoid long lines later in the day, consider visiting after 4pm when things tend to slow down a bit.
