• All guests must present a valid ID card or passport upon entry, including children who might qualify for free admission.
• E-tickets need to be printed out or shown on your mobile device at the entrance.

Comfortable footwear and suitable attire are recommended. Consider hats, water bottles, and sunscreen if visiting during hot weather.

• Luggage exceeding dimensions of 40x40x20cm is not permitted inside; no storage facilities for bags or suitcases exist on site.
• Pets are generally prohibited unless they are registered service animals.
• Consumption and entry with food, drinks, smoking materials, alcohol, or illegal substances are strictly forbidden.

The use of tripods, flash photography, and filming equipment is not allowed within the monument.

• While an elevator is available for those with reduced mobility, most visitors must ascend 284 steps to reach the rooftop; full wheelchair access is unavailable.

Accessible restrooms are limited, so please plan accordingly if necessary.

• Tickets are mandatory for everyone including children and those eligible for free admission. Free tickets must be collected at the Arc de Triomphe with a valid ID by EU citizens aged 18–25 or visitors under 18.
• Security checks apply to all guests; expect longer queues during peak times due to these measures.
• Under-18s and EU citizens under 26 (with photo identification) can enter for free.
• The last entry is permitted 45 minutes before the monument closes.
• No charge on the first Sunday of January, February, March, November, December, as well as during European Heritage Days in early September.
• Special opening hours at 10am occur on Tuesdays, specifically December 24 and 31.
• The monument remains closed annually on May 1, May 8, July 14, and November 11.

Closures or partial closures may happen during official ceremonies or unfavorable weather conditions.
